The mission and goal is for PetHeads to make you smile!
PetHeads is an idea that was inspired by Moki, my lovable little aussie/retriever mix. I have enjoyed woodworking for many years and when I got the idea about designing my own intarsia pattern for Moki from one of my own photos I didn't have any idea it would evolve as it has. In case intarsia is not a familiar term, it is a woodworking technique where a mosaic-like, 3-dimensional picture is made.
I was so happy with the result that I wanted to offer this to other people who love their pets. I strive to make sure that every PetHead thrills the person who gets it just as much as my own Moki PetHeads thrill me and make me smile. To date, no one who has gotten a PetHead has been unhappy with it. If for any reason though there is anything that isn't right about the PetHead I will gladly remake it or provide a full refund. I really do want to make sure every one I make will please the person getting it.
Here are some comments about PetHeads... Absolutely Precious. --- Thank you for the 'awesome-likeness'...and for the prompt service. --- They are beautiful! They look just like each dog. --- What a remarkable resemblance. --- Wonderful wooden heads. They are unique, and we will enjoy them for years to come. --- You did an awesome job...We love them both. --- We really liked the PetHeads. They look just like them. I also think that a PetHead may be the perfect way to help someone capture a fond memory of an old friend…Losing a pet to illness or accident is hard. A PetHead can be a thoughtful and reflective gift for someone who has lost a special companion, a beautiful way to remember that loyal friend forever. I have made several PetHeads of my old friend Twiggy who was another shepherd/lab mix who was with me for 16 years. I've made a lot of PetHeads for others who have lost a pet and they always seem to bring a little joy and happiness in remembering.
